I run make to build the project. But It occurs the following error.

Thanks for the report, seems like the performance tests were broken since the original upload of this library to GitHub.

Just ignore that, library is header-only, you don't need to build it to use it.

@Sveske-Juice this is a very old student project of mine, and I'm not going to be maintaining it, as, frankly, I don't even remember anything about it.

However, if you are willing to dig through it and fix the issue, PRs are welcome

That is totally fair. I am currently studying it for a student project aswell, and i need to implement an rs codec. I might try fix it.
