In my search for an attempt to have a code block reflect all the modifications made directly to a repo on GitHub, I found this function that returns the content of a file via a shortcode using the raw URL.

However, in this theme, it only works with the light theme and without syntax highlighting. It is also not compatible with the marking of the type of code defined in the .md file using three quotation marks (```bash).

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to use this shortcode with the desired language markup in the .md file. Example (``` bash)

I'm sorry I didn't provide feedback earlier, but I've already managed to solve this problem.

Using the link I posted above and with the help of ChatGPT, I got the result I needed.

It was necessary to create a shortcode file with this content:

{{- $cacheDuration := 168 -}}

{{- $remote := resources.GetRemote $url }}
{{- if $remote }}
  {{- $content := $remote.Content | string }}
  {{- highlight $content $lang "" }}

{{- end }}

And reference it in the post content through:

I don't know if this is/was the best approach but it met what I needed.
