Improve release automation (umbrella task)

## Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe the impact that the lack of the feature requested is creating.

Recently we have deeply improved how we do releases, with more helper scripts and automation. However, there are still a few manual steps. This issue is an umbrella issue for tracking improvements we need to do.
