Future of mycodo (Home Assistant integration) ?

Hey there.
I love mycodo and i'm using it for Years.

But since i'm using Home Assistant for a long time as well, i was thinking if this could be the future of mycodo;
a Home Assistant integration rather than a standalone project.

Of course this probably needs an almost new written code (or hopefully possible to cherry-picking parts of it and almost copy&paste with little adjustments (noob here^^) ?),

but in the long term, it would make mycodo much more versatile and future-proof,
since Home Assistant already takes care of a really big portion of mycodo,

such as

• Backend
• • always up2date Cross-Platform (raspberry, nuc, docker, VMs etc)
• Frontend
• • Full fledged Graphical Interface (e.g. Dashboards with countless visual-options (cards) and more (automations etc) )
• Protocol Integration (MQTT, ESPHome, Raspberry-GPIOs, ModBus, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Matter, Thread and so on)
• • Device Integration (on all of these protocols, countless devices are well integrated)
• Datalogging, History (with third-Party Integrations like Grafana)
• API
• AI-Integrations on it's way (already possible to talk with and let it do some easy things)
• • This for example would allow AI to analyse the Camera-feed and adjust the feeding accordingly.
• Notifications (countless options)
• Ultra-Complex-Automations
• • with rly great build-in UI
• • Node-RED (world-class visualization)
• User-Management/Roles
• Backups (Remote Server or Cloud-Drives)
• Remote-Access (through protected nabu-casa cloud)
• Mobile-App
• "Blueprints" (new feature of growlink.ag as well)
• Camera-Integrations
• Weather-Data
• Energy-Monitoring

• Community of Millions and Millions of existing Users (probably trying out such integration much faster, by maybe just leveraging a few zigbee sensors already laying around)

By letting Home Assistant handle all of this, Mycodo development could focus more on core functionalities.

yeah, i know this exists.
but to be honest, i do not use mycodo anymore.
home assistant is just much more flexible with all sorts of devices, integrations, visuals and so on.

especially for multi-room-setups, mycodo is just a no-go.

for you as a dev, it's also much more easy to maintain mycodo as a home assistant integration instead of a standalone project.

because home assistant does the core and all the integrations pretty perfect. it just had missed a suite like this new one here

i even use HA to take a screenshot of my growroom, have it send to chatgpt and get a notification on my phone if something looks strange ;)
possibilities are endless with HA
