madcad on macOS.

Hello,

Is there any way to configure pymadcad/uimadcad to run on macOS (specifically Sequoia) or to configure macOS to run pymadcad/uimadcad? I searched on Google and found that Apple is limiting OpenGL support in recent macOS versions.
Another question: How is the open source community viewing Apple's attitude?

I don't have access to a macos install here, so I never experimented that much with macos
However you can see in this repo many issues about macos and openGL as you pointed out. I do not really know which macos version is able to run our openGL rendering and which ones are not.

On your second question, I think the answer might vary according to the developers you ask ;)
My personal opinion is that it is very sad macos devs do not make the effort to be compatible with openGL despite it is the crossplatform standard for 3d rendering (marketing reasons I think, because they want to push their library metal instead, which is not multi platform). This should not be difficult for them to be compatible with openGL since AFAIK metal implements mostly the same features.

Regarding my opensource projects, I'm not paid for developing and maintaining my code, so I do not have time to waste on keeping compatibility with operating systems that do not provide compatiblity with the standards.
