Camera sensor image with rendering off is frozen

Hi,
While running not in headless mode and with rendering off, the camera sensor image is frozen in the last frame that was rendered (also with --enable_cameras = True). Is there a way to workaround it? I want to train with rendering off most of the time and to have the option to see the training progress when desired. I know that there is an option to train headlessly and record a movie while running but I prefer to have the ability to "walk around" between the different actors while training.
