[bug]: Degraded image quality on Flux.2 Klein on images over 1024x1024

What happened

Generating images larger than 1024x1024 can results in degraded image quality and or artifacts.

• FLUX.2 Klein 9B is effected much more than 4B. however 4b still degrades at higher resolutions.
• The higher the resolution the greater the effect
• Comfy UI for me did not show the same issues
• I have seen this happen with T2I and with reference image generation.
• others have also seen this issue see discord links.

can also show as diagonal lines, cross hatching in objects and their placing

Image edit example:
After trying to reproduce the issue, I have only been able to do so if I use more than 4 steps in invoke with this example. However, I have seen similar effects with other edits with 4 steps.
