RPC relative importats

Even though I followed:

https://catalins.tech/hono-rpc-in-monorepos/
and
https://hono.dev/docs/guides/rpc

I still run into the problem that my next project throws following error on build:

Type error: Cannot find module '@/db/schema' or its corresponding type declarations.

  2 | import { auth } from '@/lib/auth';
  3 | import { WebsocketDataType } from '@/types/shared.types';
  4 | import { Type } from '@/websocket/websocket-constants';

Is this error related to the relative imports in the backend? Both my frontend and backend use "@/...".
