How can I validate the response body?

Here is how I handle response validation

app = new Hono()

const schema = z.object({
...
})

const response = z.object({
...
})

app.post(
    "/posts",
    zValidator("json", schema),
    async (ctx) => {

        const dummyResponse = { name: 123, age: "123" }
        const parsed = response.safeParse(dummyResponse)
        if (!parsed.success){
            throw new HTTPException(400, { message: "Response Validation Error"})
        }

        return ctx.json(parsed, 200)
    }
)

It doesn't seem like zValidator validates response json, I was wondering if it's possible to achieve it through a custom middleware?

something like this
