can not open more-info on volume entity in ESPHome device dashboard

Describe the issue you are experiencing

there is no way to pull up the more-info on the volume slider. Clicking the icon now is an active toggle for the volume, and the slider sets the volume, as it should.

allow the icon to click for more-info

Is that a real separate volume entity?
I expect it is part of the Mediaplayer

Mediaplayers seem to expand to 2 "rows" when they are not Off. Your mediaplayer seems to be idle (like mine in the screenshot below), so you could just click on the M5Stack Atom Echo "row" for the more info.

I do think it is a bit unclear that these "rows" belong to the same entity. Every other entity it is displayed with one "row" height, only the media_player seems to expand.

tbh, I am not sure, there is no way to find out... I dont have a yaml for the device dashboard,

check the state is 'inactive', so that would also be reason not to show a slider in the first place. Especially in de dev ice dashboard

you're right, the inconsistency is confusing, only entities should be displayed in the device dashboard.

there is more inconsistency on that aspect, check these idle players I have listed:

they all show differently except for the TV and Symfonisk. Apparently the available options on the players determine the looks.
