Linux installation question re. plugins

The new v 11 sounds great. I'm on MX Linux (Debian 12). The manual commands given for Deb 11 fail. When I go to install copyq via a package manager it says it will remove the old plugin package.

Is the new plugin package included in the manual Deb 12 download? Or how would I go about adding it afterward?

Also, should I remove the old copyq (v 9) before the new install?

I think you need to uninstall copyq-plugins package (these are not maintained by me).

Ok, thanks much. I'm not even sure what the plugins do or if I use them. But since I initially started this thread both copyq and its plugins have upgraded to 11.0.0 through system updates. So it was a case of good things happening to those who wait. :)
