Problem:

• we're doubting that many users insert their repo URL to the browser imitation. The flow is quite complicated as the user needs to open his repo on GitHub first, copy the URL and paste it afterwards back on gitdpod.io. It's likely that they either don't do it or get distracted on the way. (Unfortunately we don't have any data confirming this assumption).
• the users have the greatest benefit if they install the browser extension: no need to remember the prefix, and they have a visual reminder on every repo about Gitpod. Therefore, we want to increase the number of the installations
• we assume that users might not see a great benefit in opening a random example repo in Gitpod. Opening their own repo with Gitpod, would have a lot greater impact. Therefor the example repos should be less dominant.

Solution:

• Let's communicate the prefix in a written way. Then the users can copy and paste the prefix and insert it to the URL directly. Thereby they need to change websites only once.

• Let's add a CTA for the browser extension
