Paddings and Margins are not properly overwritten / merged

I have stumbled upon and issue, where other classes such as colors, heights, widths etc. are properly merged, yet paddings and margins seem to be ignored.

Here's my example component:

When used like this:

  <x-renting::portal.elements.section-heading
      class="pb-10 mb-10"
      class:title="text-sm"
      title="New Features"
  />

The new padding and margin of 10 are ignored.
