I second that, it would be nice to have that feature. Also, the option to rename a repository would be great. Renaming plans is also not possible, but I guess that is because the name of the plan is used as tags in the snapshots. So, renaming the branch would mean the tags in the snapshots would have to be changed also (which is at least technically possible afaik). Maybe there are other reasons also. But I am not sure about the reasons for the immutable repository URI and name. |

I have recently moved my repository to a new server, and I would need to change the URI of this repository in the clients that are using this repository as a destination to backup. However, in BackRest, the repository URL is grayed out, so I cannot change it. Why is that, and what would be the recommended way to change this repository URL so the clients can now back up to the new server?
