What version of Spook are you using?

v4.0.1

What version of Home Assistant are you using?

2025.11.2

The problem

After updating to v4.0.1, I am still seeing translation placeholder validation errors for Japanese (ja).

Even though the release notes mention:

Bug fixes: Fix broken language placeholders in some language strings @frenck (#1073)

the following errors appear in the logs:

Logger: homeassistant.helpers.translation
Source: helpers/translation.py:285
First occurred: 12:57:24 (5 occurrences)
Last logged: 12:57:24

Validation of translation placeholders for localized (ja) string component.spook.issues.integration_unknown_source.description failed: (set() != {'entity_id', 'source', 'helper'})
Validation of translation placeholders for localized (ja) string component.spook.issues.integration_unknown_source.title failed: (set() != {'helper'})
Validation of translation placeholders for localized (ja) string component.spook.issues.script_unknown_entity_references.description failed: ({'script', 'edit', 'entity_id'} != {'entities', 'script', 'edit', 'entity_id'})
Validation of translation placeholders for localized (ja) string component.spook.issues.switch_as_x_unknown_source.description failed: (set() != {'entity_id', 'source', 'helper'})
Validation of translation placeholders for localized (ja) string component.spook.issues.switch_as_x_unknown_source.title failed: (set() != {'helper'})

It seems that the fix applied in v4.0.1 did not cover Japanese language strings.

Could you please confirm whether a fix for Japanese translation placeholders is planned in the next release?

Anything in the logs? Paste it here!
