remote user follower/following sync

Horrible flaw in AP/Mastodon is the lack of remote user follower/following sync.

Every single time I click on a remote user friend of mine and click on their following tab to try and see which of my other friends they're following (and that list is only showing local follows..... I want to burn my mastodon down)
