[Compiling Perf Issue] How to see the compiling (re-build) logs? Slow dev build with details below...

Hello create-react-app community,

I started to build a medium size app on a regular MacPro (i7 & 32GB) and I found out that it takes between 10 and 20 seconds to re-build and refresh the app.. that's super slow for development.. still on these should be fast, so I started to dig into the problem. So, several questions on this:

1. How do I see logs in CRA, Webpack has a lot of logs but cannot see any in CRA.
2. Is any way to make speed-measure-webpack-plugin to work with CRA? This is the issue that I just opened for this: speed-measure-webpack-plugin/issues/164
3. I did disable the ESLint, just to make sure not regression of past issues discussed on this topic, but still not improvement, if anyone has any opinion please share it.
4. I don't mind ejecting, since we can keep CRA updated manually with no problem.

I use latest cra release.

I have an HP i7, 16Go of RAM and a SSD and it slow for me as well for the same conditions except that I have a simpler app.
