Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer (Mid to Senior Level) to join our team and help build high-performance web applications in the fast-growing ecommerce A/B testing space. The ideal candidate is proficient in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, has a keen eye for design, and is passionate about building seamless user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a flexible, remote-first environment, contributing to a product used by thousands of Shopify merchants worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Build and optimize user-facing components using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure fast load times, smooth interactions, and high accessibility standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to create intuitive and scalable user interfaces.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following industry best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Debug, test, and resolve frontend issues efficiently.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends.
Experience Level
- Mid-Level: 3+ years of frontend development experience
- Senior-Level: 5+ years of frontend development experience with a strong portfolio in production applications

Requirements
Minimal (Must-Have)
- Proficient in Next.js
- Proficient in Tailwind CSS
- Portfolio submission required
Preferred (At Least One)
- Experience in app development (Flutter / Swift / Kotlin)
- Experience with backend frameworks
- Contributions to open-source projects
Bonus
- Experience in building AI agents or AI applications related to:
- Figma to code conversion
- HTML code generation
- Web scraping
Interview process
- 15 min phone screening – Quick introduction to assess experience and expectations.
- Take-home exam – A practical challenge to evaluate problem-solving and technical skills.
