@hausen1012 MQTT.Cool actually acts as a proxy server, serving as a middleware layer between the browser and the MQTT broker. The browser still connects to the MQTT.Cool server via WebSocket, and then the MQTT.Cool server connects to the actual MQTT broker through native TCP.

Browsers have security sandbox restrictions that prevent direct TCP connections, which is the fundamental reason why most Web MQTT clients can only use WebSocket. Without an intermediate proxy layer, clients must connect directly to an MQTT broker that supports WebSocket.

@hausen1012 Thank you for your suggestion. However, implementing a proxy method to support TCP connections from web browsers goes beyond the scope of a client application. We don't plan to provide proxy server functionality as part of MQTTX, as our focus is on creating a robust MQTT client rather than server-side infrastructure.
