Multi-zone High Availability for OpenVSX

Hello,

I'm currently running a self-hosted OpenVSX deployment for internal use. We want to support users across multiple geographic regions (Europe and the U.S.)

I have the following questions:

• Does the OpenVSX application itself support multi-zone or multi-region deployment? Or is the architecture intended to run as a single-region monolith?
• If the open-source application doesn't currently support geo-redundancy, can you please share how the public open-vsx.org deployment achieves high availability across regions?
• If such a feature is not available, does the ovsx team consider implementing this?
