goatcounter's pageview number not appearing on page layout

Description

I am trying to enable pageview counters on both my post and page layouts. While the counter is appearing on posts, the counter is stuck with the loading sign on pages. How can I fix it?

On my post, it appears as

But on my customized page layout (at the bottom), it appears as

@rafisics it isn't really necessary to use fork.
You can use the template and customise that you need. I did the same for my sites, check here

And if you'd like to continue using the fork, I'd like you to save all the files you modified locally, then create a fresh test fork and add the modifications one by one.

I rebased my fork’s master onto upstream all at once, keeping my changes intact. My main site's repo is not a fork. But this one is for testing, because I thought it would be easier for others to help me debug the issue.

Oh, right. Thanks for noticing the hamburger menu issue. I somehow removed initSidebar(), from _javacript/page.js. Adding it back (rafisics@c64e3f4) resolves the issue. But another thing I just noticed. When I add initLocaleDatetime(); in page.js (just llke post.js), the dark-light mode-toggle is getting disabled on the pages of Resources, About, and CV. I like to know why? What is the function initLocaleDatetime(); that is kept in post.js, but not in page.js?

I think that shows the date time in your timezone on posts

If so, why would it interfere with the dark-light theme toggle? I think I should move to new discussion for it. :|

Yeah, honestly about 1-2 years ago I found jekyll and chirpy.
Most of my js knowledge comes from trying to customise chirpy 😅
So I'm not always sure why some things break.
