How will KTL fit into the new interface Knack are planning? #481

Hi Leigh, Thanks for reaching out about this - it's definitely a valid concern! I've actually been on top of this and can share some good news: We've had 3 meetings with the Knack team already (Kara, John, and some of their engineers) specifically about KTL compatibility. They fully understand how important KTL is - they've confirmed that 242 accounts and 506 apps are currently using it! The great news is that they've officially included KTL conversion in their development roadmap for the new Modern UI. They'll be providing us with tools to help with the transition process. I won't sugar-coat it though - this will be a complex undertaking. We're going to need all the help we can get from users, testers and coders when the time comes. But it will get done - too many companies rely on KTL to run their businesses for it to be left behind. So no need to worry! I'm staying closely connected with their team throughout this process. As soon as I have more specific details about the conversion timeline or process, I'll share updates with everyone. Thanks for being part of the KTL community! Norm |

Just some early feedback - I've been given access to Next-Gen, which for now I'm finding a bit underwhelming because it doesn't seem to offer much more than some different aesthetics. The first thing I note is that KTL is now broken - all the keywords are visible, and it doesn't look like KTL functions are working at all. Here is an example page: Keywords visible, no additional filtering etc. Classic below: |

I realise that Knack haven't released anything yet, but has there been any discussion with Knack to understand whether KTL will work with the new "modern UI" that Knack has planned? Or will it be limited to use on the "Classic UI". Or worse still, no longer work on either? They seem to be messing around with how javascript and CSS work in the new builder, so stating to worry as I'm quite reliant on KTL for a lot of things ...
