Description

Ubuntu is a distribution based on Debian, designed to have regular releases and a consistent user experience.

Why should this be added?

26.04 is the new Ubuntu LTS. Being able to start creating containers with this now would allow new deployments to need fewer upgrades later on. This should, in general, be a very quick clone of the existing scripts.

There might be meaningful structural redesigns (for example, default to latest or latest-lts, and allow a version change in the settings), but that's a longer term change that would make sense.

Installation Notes

Would recommend cloning the existing Ubuntu scripts for 24.04.
