Bufferline in lazyvim doesn't work with iceberg

I am using bufferline in lazyvim and it doesn't work well with iceberg although other colorschemes work just fine. How can I resolve this?

Apparently the "reverse" gui for TabLineFill does not work properly. For me it is fixed if I remove gui=reverse from both TabLineFill lines.

I don't know if cterm=reverse does something similar and needs to go as well. Maybe the "reverse" gui is on purpose, but just not working properly? Then the above lines only fix the symptom, but not the cause.
