Streaming boot fails-then?

Is there a mechanism defined if streaming boot fails,

1. If streaming boot fails due to hard faults like memory violations or ECC during Caliptra FMC/RT,MCU RT, SoC Manifest , SoC Firmware, etc)
2. If BMC(RA) tries streaming boot with invalid firmware (Invalid MCU RT or SoC manifest etc).

Does Caliptra goes back to recovery interface and ready to accept new firmware on the streaming boot.?

We believe that a failed FW verification (resulting in a fatal error condition) will only be applicable to Caliptra FMC and RT. Since a fatal error will be thrown by Caliptra, SoC can detect this and perform a reset of Caliptra. Expect that Caliptra ROM will report the failure to BMC.

If Caliptra RT fails to verify MCU FW, then we will expect Caliptra RT to handle this and report an error to BMC. This is not fatal. MCU FW and SoC FW are not running and therefore are not involved in FW download retries or other activities.

If MCU FW fails to verify SoC FW (via Caliptra) components, then this is not considered fatal. MCU FW should fail the PLDM authorize command. SoC FW is not running, and therefore are not involved in FW download retries or other activities.
