Why is MaterialCommunityIcons exposed but not MaterialIcons?

The former seems to be an extension to the latter so common icons like "edit" seems to be missing.

I'm wrong. Equivalent icons exist in MaterialCommunityIcons, just under different names (e.g. "pencil").
