Description

Quick Check

  • I've searched existing issues and this bug hasn't been reported yet

What Went Wrong?

Navigating chapters from the sidebar or internal links does not properly update the reader state:

  • The chapter name in the top bar does not update.
  • The selected chapter in the sidebar does not update correctly.
*Buggy behavior appears when scrolling or changing pages in the EPUB reader.

How Can We Reproduce This?

  1. Open an EPUB book using Booklore’s built-in EPUB reader.
  2. Go to Reader Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top bar.
  3. Switch the reading mode to the one that is not currently active.
  4. Navigate to a different chapter using the sidebar or internal links.
  5. Observe the incorrect behavior described above.

What Should Have Happened?

Chapter navigation should correctly update the top bar, sidebar selection, and reader behavior.
