Description
Steps To Reproduce
This happens intermittently.
When it does, here are the symptoms:
- The Chrome extension prompts for the master password. (Biometric option is not available.)
- I enter my master password correctly.
- The extension reports that the master password is incorrect.
- I copy the master password, log out of the desktop app, and log back in using the master password copied from the Chrome extension. The login is successful.
- I retry the same master password in the Chrome extension. It continues to report that the master password is incorrect.
Just now, I completely exited Chrome, restarted Chrome, and then was able to successfully log in to the Chrome extension with the master password. I don't know if this always works however.
Expected Result
The login with the correct master password should be successful.
Failing that, the error message should indicate that there is an internal error or issue -- NOT that the master password is invalid (since in fact it is not). It is unnerving and disconcerting to be told the password is wrong. It makes me think my Bitwarden account has been hacked.
Actual Result
Described in the steps to reproduce.

Issue Tracking Info
- I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.
