Consider rewriting the examples as tutorials.

Examples can be copy and pasted
Tutorials help people understand how it works step by step

There's already one tutorial on my website.

I'll see about adding some literate-programming style comments to the tutorials in the repo but writing a good tutorial is hard work. If you want to take a stab at it feel free to send a PR!
