'Pinch' and 'Zoom' Actions #54

I am in the process of adding Pinch and Zoom actions to the Appium recorder for this issue: https://github.com/appium/appium-dot-app/issues/168
Looking at how the Java client works, it adds a custom multi-touch gesture for both elements and x, y (pinch and zoom). Can I add the same to this client or are these Appium-only and not for inclusion in this project?
