URGENT: Billing Issue - Payment Deducted But Claude Pro Subscription Not Activated (24+ Hours Without Support Response)

Summary

₹1,999.00 was charged to my account on June 6, 2026, for Claude Pro subscription (Order #GPA.3360-5983-8434-05009), but the subscription was never activated. After 24+ hours of repeated support requests with no human response, I'm escalating this issue publicly.

The Problem:

  1. ✗ Payment was successfully deducted from my account
  2. ✗ Claude Pro subscription was NOT activated
  3. ✗ No invoice or receipt was ever sent
  4. ✗ Subscription shows as "Free" in billing settings despite payment

Timeline of Support Attempts

June 6, 2026:

  • Contacted Fin AI Agent (chatbot) via free support channel
  • Received troubleshooting steps that did not resolve the issue
  • Chatbot repeatedly promised escalation to human support team
  • No human response

June 7, 2026:

  • Submitted formal written complaint at 2h mark
  • Requested immediate human contact or refund
  • Chatbot again promised human team would respond
  • Still no human response after 24+ hours

Current Status:

  • Payment remains deducted
  • Subscription still not activated
  • No invoice generated
  • Zero contact from Anthropic human support team

Impact

  • Loss of productivity for 24+ hours (unable to use paid Claude features I paid for)
  • Wasted time troubleshooting with an AI chatbot that cannot actually resolve billing issues
  • No transparency about when/if this will be resolved
  • Frustration due to repeated false promises of human support

Request for Immediate Resolution

Option 1 (Preferred): Activate my subscription immediately + compensation for time wasted and service failure

Option 2: Process full refund of ₹1,999.00 immediately + compensation for time and frustration caused by support failure

Compensation Requested:

  • Full refund of ₹1,999.00 (charged but not delivered)
  • Compensation for 24+ hours of wasted time and support failure: ₹500-₹1,000 (reasonable for business time wasted)
  • Alternative: 1 month free Claude Pro (if subscription is activated)
