Is there any way to group columns?

Hello everybody!

First of all, I'm so sorry if this has already been resolved/rejected, I know there are many threads asking this but I've check them out and neither of them offer a possible solution to the problem and I didn't want to post there because some of them are many years old.

So, is there any way yet to group columns? Like having a parent column and then 2 sub-columns as children?
Is there any way to do that with the current formatters?

Again, sorry if this bothers anyone, I've looked for info but couldn't find any updated response on any thread or forum.
