abapGit Link was broken, and when I reestablished the link, I can't commit and push anymore

1. I was able to do multiple commit and push to my GitHub repo
2. Until one odd case where the abapGit link was broken -- my package no longer shown in the "abapGit Repositories" window
3. I tried to reestablish the link again by adding my GitHub repo and tie it to my abap package
4. I tried to do a stage and push, then I get the error below:

Could you provide the stack trace for this issue from Error Log view in eclipse. Also, if possible, more information on how/why the link was broken will be helpful.
