Deprecation warnings from training with recent TensorFlow

Running train/train_models.py on a recent version of TensorFlow (1.13.1) produces a number of deprecation warnings:

Not sure which versions it makes sense to target, but many of the suggested alternatives should be available also in 1.12.2 (the version in requirements-*.txt)
