To confirm: a query doesn't re-run if the queryKey is the same but receives a new queryFn?

A useQuery where the queryKey doesn't change, yet receives a new queryFn on each render won't run the query right? The source of truth (in addition to params like enabled) on whether it should run again is solely the queryKey?

Didn't see this explicitly covered in the docs but seems to be the observed behavior.

yes, that’s right. We don’t check function equality - that’s what the queryKey is for.
