How to create extra-rules for npm dependencies?

I have these entries in my version.properties:

version.npm.embla-carousel=7.1.0
version.npm.embla-carousel-autoplay=7.1.0
version.npm.embla-carousel-react=7.1.0

I am trying to create an extra rule to merge these entries.
But I can't figure out a way to do this. Any hints?

It's not supported, but you can alias to a key:

version.npm.embla-carousel=7.1.0
version.npm.embla-carousel-autoplay=version.npm.embla-carousel
version.npm.embla-carousel-react=version.npm.embla-carousel
