I'm working on a chrome extension that works with seleniumIDE and I find that the documentation isn't very clear

Motivation

The documentation isn't very clear to what APIs are available, and how to use them. It also looks like that the last time it was updated was in 2019.

Example

I'm looking for a way to start and stop a test from a plugin that I'm developing and I can't find a way to do it.

@jonathanobino - Sorry it took so long for me to get to this. Is this still an issue for you? My assumption is that this is not documented, so it isn't able to be done currently. Perhaps the ticket should instead request APIs for starting and stopping playback?

It's not an issue anymore for me since I only needed it to export selenium IDE project data and I've found a workaround, but it would be useful to have since we can load a project with an API
