How to keep key pressed on Mac OS X?

I need to keep the Command key in pressed state.
In Windows, below is ok.
`k.press_key(k.control_key)`

I tried as below in Mac OS X, but only act as press and release once.
`k.press_key('Command')`

Anybody knows how to realize the same action in Mac OS X? thanks!
