Discussion regarding "payment subject" in docs #2307

Hi all,

During a recent discussion, concerns were raised about the current wording in our payment methods documentation regarding triangulation. Specifically, the suggestion made in the docs that sellers ask buyers to include the statement "By making this payment, I acknowledge that I will not have the right to a refund later" in the payment subject has been noted as potentially controversial.

While the intention behind this wording is to protect sellers from chargebacks, there are concerns that this might appear suspicious to banks and could lead to unnecessary scrutiny or suspicions, and in general even honest buyers could be not comfortable complying with this.

I believe it's important to have a broader discussion within the community about how best to handle this situation. Maybe we could explore alternative ways that balances these concerns of honest buyers while giving some protection from chargebacks to seller (my only comment here is that sellers are the weaker side when it comes to scams and attacks).

Anybody is welcome to share their thoughts on whether you believe this statement is necessary or if there are better alternatives.

This can hopefully be a good base so that we can later update the documentation accordingly.
