Quality Guidelines

This document outlines the quality standards and requirements for the Simple Device Creator integration.

Testing Requirements

Code Coverage

Maintain >95% code coverage across all tests
Unit tests must cover all functions and classes
Component tests must verify Home Assistant integration

Test Types

Unit Tests: Test individual components in isolation
Component Tests: Test the integration within Home Assistant
Integration Tests: Verify end-to-end functionality

Code Review Checklist

Code follows PEP 8 standards

Release Process

Update version in manifest.json
Update CHANGELOG.md
Create Git tag
Run full test suite
Validate with HACS and Hassfest
