what kind of plugin for

Hi,
I would like to understand how my TV communicates with an application on my smartphone, so I am using a Raspberry pi with kali linux and I would like to create an Acces point and see the traffic (event if it's using https) to understand the API. What should I do ? Running tcpdump as shown in the documentation or a MITM plugin ?

Don't even understand how the basics is supposed to work because I am just doing this:

set interface wlo1
set ssid Pumpkin
set proxy noproxy
ignore pydns_server
start

and new SSID appears on my phone and as soon as I connect with my smartphone, the SSID disappears and I cannot connect...

Ok I have found. on Ubuntu you have to stop the service netwokmanager: service NetworkManager stop
