Introduce your stance
Summer of Nix (part of the NixOS Foundation's NGI collaboration) is a major endeavor but still not very well-known. Part of our job though is to make visible what authors of NGI-funded projects have achieved and what's available through the Nix ecosystem.

You currently have to know to know to find Summer of Nix and what it's about.

Hm, where do you want to see this link go? I definitely think of having some sort of banner on the landing page once all announcement stuff goes off. In the footer maybe? Or under learn? Community?

I actually have several separate items in mind:

• Make a separate "Teams" page #1511 (for better discoverability) and add a NGI Zero team that will operate at least until mid 2026.

  We already moved the Discourse category that was previously "Summer of Nix" to NGI Zero (thanks a lot for the prompt help @mweinelt)

• Add "Summer of Nix" under the Contribute section in the footer

• Add banners once we run announcements
