Add flag to ignore writing to the database #81

When testing my application, I accidentally add a bunch of results that I don't want to add to my database.
Describe the solution you'd like
I want to pass a flag that doesn't record the results of my exercise, so my results do not contain a bunch of cruft.
Describe alternatives you've considered
None.
Additional context
I'm experiencing this as a developer, but I'm wondering if other users would find it useful. For instance, maybe they're modifying their system configuration, or they're just trying a one off test of a file that they don't care about.
