proxy host source domain www always gets added

Describe the bug

when adding a new proxy host und trying to open the domain I´ll always get redirected to www.proxy-host-domain ???? (diffrent devices tested evrywhere same problem?)
the destination is not working because of this any idea what could be the problem?
