[Feature]: Don't clear recently filtered messages with the clear button #6

I use the clear button a lot to clear the messages I've read so it's easier to see new messages, but sometimes I hit the clear button just after a new message is added before I've had time to read it.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice it there was something like a 0.5 second window where new messages aren't removed by the clear button.
Expected behavior
It would be nice it there was something like a 0.5 second window where new messages aren't removed by the clear button. It may also be good to not show new messages in the background while the "Clear Messages?" popup is open.
