@iBasit if we stored GQ API requests in local database this would help speed up the time required for loading the app data , check out this video:

Ya this would be good, then we would have to do following to have this done.

• check sql if data exist
• store data to sql from api, if data does not exist
• show loading icon, while data is getting stored in sql
• once loaded, then go to surah list
• pull all the data from sql db, rather then API.
