I just wanted to warn you that I barley made an GitHub account !! (that is mandatory to write to you here )

Why ?
Because github require an email to create an account !? and a lot of domains are blacklisted !
So I had to create an allowed email account somewhere else ! and of course almost all of them ask a phone number !
in the U.S this is not to much a problem, but in other country to get a mobile number you have to provide a National Identification ( who said it's totalitarian ? humm :) )

and that created this trace chain NIN -> email -> github

In other word local government can (and do) track , repress what you do online too...

So, If you stay on Microsoft/github I suggest to create an offical Lemmy community ( 1min to create ) and refer it's link to the README.

As hopefully most of the lemmy server do not require Identification !

That being said, let see in how many day github will freeze my account :)
