Add page range selection?

I noticed that this is not on to-do, but for some academic books, there's a long list of references at the end, also for some, there'd be some random publisher info at the beginning, would you care to add this part? I'd be happy to help and commit if this is ok with you.

Only issue is that for nearly all ebook formats the pages aren't standardized like a pdf and depend on the reader application being using to display them

Right now it uses calibre's ebook-convert command to convert all ebook formats into txt to then pass through the the TTS engines

pdf would probably be the only format you could do the page range thing for

a character range might be more universal tho as an option but

there is no pages on ebook, but more xhtml page and does not reflect on the real book pages...
for example I'm testing an ebook with one big xhtml page where all the book text are, and there are after that 5 xhtml pages for slogans like make a donation etc....

Also even though it might work for PDF files only

We kind of want to discourage the use of them as... they are notoriously known for doing weird stuff when converted to txt

yes there's no pages for .epubs and such but I think calibre can do some sort of cutting, I'll look into that and create a demo then maybe you could take a look?

@landerhe. of course you can do a lot of things with calibre.. Manually! this is not what our project is expected for.
ebook2audiobook role is to grab whatever file, convert it in epub then try to select the real xhtml page of the ebook then convert it..
