This crashes Ableton for me. I don’t remember which version I was on before, but that one worked fine yesterday. After upgrading today, Ableton crashes as soon as I try to load the plugin.

Which plugin version, VST2, VST3, or AU?

AU, but somehow affects VST3 too, although I didn’t update VST3. I thought OK, I’ll just run the VST3 as I didn’t include it in the update, but that crashed Ableton too.

Ableton version is the latest, 12.2.5.

This might sound like a dumb question, but which file do I download to get it running. First time downloading via GitHub. Is it the Installer.exe or the zip file?

Hello there. Hope it's fine to post this here

Im using Ableton installed via bottles on arch. I've installed cardinal via bottles too. When trying to load the VST3 in ableton (or the FX), it crashes immediately, with a red warning. I've tried older version, but to no prevail. Is this something even possible (Ableton and Cardinal via bottles)? Any hint is much appreciated

Theoretically that should be possible, but of course not a supported setup.

It had a red stop sign .. i dont know why i said red warning. Just a crash, my bad.
