How to accept ghost text in chat window?

When typing into the copilot chat window im shown an autocomplete suggestion for my prompt. unlike in the code editor window, pressing TAB doesnt accept the suggestion. how do i accept the autocomplete suggestion? To clarify I am talking about the auto complete suggestion for input in the CHAT window not the main code editor window.

sorry this was a duplicate question. I found the answer was to add this to the config file.
